Hot water
Water heaters
Replacement and repair of storage water heaters. We check the existing setup, access and household demand before recommending a size.
Request a quoteA cold shower is the symptom
Send the heater model, approximate age and a photograph of the whole installation. Tell us whether there is no hot water, less than usual or water around the tank. These details help us decide which technician and parts to send.
Replacing a tank
A replacement quote identifies the tank size, disposal, valves, connections and any required permit work. We check clearances and the route out of the building before ordering. A larger tank is not always the answer to a short supply.
Handover
At the end of the job we explain the controls, leave the manufacturer documents and list the checks completed. Changes to electrical service or gas supply require a separate agreed scope.
Typical costs
Planning figures for straightforward jobs during regular hours. The written quote is the price you agree to pay.
| Job | Guide price | What is included |
|---|---|---|
| Storage heater assessment | $160–$240 | Inspection and written recommendations |
| Like-for-like electric replacement | $1,650–$2,400 | Standard tank, labor and removal; existing compliant connections |
Access, parts and the condition of existing pipework can change the price. These fictional demo figures are not an offer.
Common questions
Will the old tank be removed?
Standard removal is named in the replacement quote. Difficult access or hazardous materials require separate arrangements.
Do you install tankless heaters?
We can assess the property, but fuel supply, venting and water demand must be reviewed before a proposal.
