Four photos that help us plan a visit
A wide view, a close view, the equipment label and the access route are a useful starting point.
A close-up of a leak is useful, but it rarely shows the whole installation. When requesting planned work, send enough context for the office to understand what a technician will find.
The wide view
Stand back and include the fitting and the connections around it. For a heater, include the space from floor to ceiling. This shows working room and helps identify the type of installation.
The close view and label
Photograph the visible problem and any readable model label. Use ordinary access only. You do not need to remove a panel or dismantle anything for a quote request.
The route in
A narrow stairway matters when a tank needs replacing. Mention stairs, door widths and parking restrictions. The photographs start the conversation; they do not replace an assessment or guarantee a final price.
